Food Days 2026 event brought together food sector entrepreneurs, companies, researchers, developers and decision‑makers from nine different countries to Seinäjoki to connect, exchange ideas, and shape sustainable growth. In total, we had more than 200 participants.
The attendees were able to enjoy speeches from experts in the field covering a wide range of topics from the newest food technologies to sustainability and marketing, and in between enjoy coffee and socialize with like-minded people. At the stands of the Local Food Market, they could discover locally produced foods, meet the entrepreneurs behind them, and purchase products to take home with them.
This year’s theme was The Future of Food.
Here are a few comments from participants:
“Thank you for the event, it was a great experience (and I mean ‘experience’ in the Finnish sense of elämys)! Please be very proud of yourselves for arranging an event this successful!”
“Lovely venue, everything worked smoothly, interesting topics from many different perspectives.”
“Inspiring, energetic atmosphere with a wide spectrum of knowledge and experience.”
“I liked the format and the program. It did not feel too heavy but remained highly relevant. It was also great to include a wide range of stakeholders and countries. The venue was unique and very pleasant as well.”
The next Food Days will be on 29-30 September 2027, so mark your calendars now!
